Two strikingly similar cars are shown here – the Marcos Mantis and the Clan Crusader.
The Mantis came first in 1968 as Marcos’ first 2+2. Remarkable, the styling was not well received and only 32 were sold. The Clan Crusader followed in 1971, sounding like a white supremacist superhero. It looks eerily similar with it’s high mounted rectangular headlights and different but equally odd window treatment.
