More Zombie Packards

It appears that these neoclassic Packards just won't die, regardless of how hideous they are.  I've found yet another Bayliff Packard, and it looks substantially different from the last Crown Vic one I posted.  Also lucky enough this time around to have multiple views, including the interior which features a gigantic steering wheel emblem that I presume is the size it is to make up for the lack of other interior upgrades.

And if that wasn't bad enough, it seems the luxury coupe is susceptible to the Packard virus, as witnessed by the unfortunate Mercury Cougar below.

Queasy Rods: Thunderbird Fords

"Easy Rods" other available kit is one I've stumbled across before. However it now seems to be available in infinite varieties, from '49 Ford to '49 Mercurys to '55 Crown Vics. The one thing the all share though is that they're all based off the '89-'97 Thunderbird - a point that is painfully driven home if you look between the wheel wells. The early 50's designs look as attractive on the angular 80's styling of the T-Bird as Micheal Jackson wearing a poodle skirt. Almost makes the Belaro period correct.

Random thoughts: Maybe this car was inspired by Micheal Jackson, given that as he aged he started to morph into a poor representation of what Liz Taylor looked like in the 50's...

Mercury Poisoning

The Mercury Monarch - already a ritzy Ford Granada - does not fare well in Rolls Royce hybridization.

Attack of the Clones: Mercury Commodore

Having grown up with a Mercury Marquis, I always found the VK Holden Commodore generation to have shockingly similar lines. Featured for their cloned appearance - wouldn't call them ugly.

Mercury Studefugger

Another bodykit for an unlikely Ford product, not unlike this Thunderbird. I'm sure no one can tell the difference between this and an actual '50 Stud.

Mercury Sable

If the new for '96 Taurus weren't controvertial enough with it oval treatment, the Sable with it's fish face had it worse off.
