Mansory Cormeum

Mansory is at it again releasing a new modified SLS called the Cormeum. Maybe their name is a portmanteau of “Man, I’m Sorry"...

The droopy face of the Stirling Moss SLR just borders on the brink of fugliness on it's own. Slapping that face on the SLS and adding random visual "go-fast" bits definitely pushes it over the edge of the precipice. I mean – scoops inside scoops? Slathering it in what looks like a faux carbon fibre wrap just ads insult to injury. I’m seriously beginning to think Mansory's staff of designers are a group of 14 year old boys.

Mitsubishi e-compact Concept

Mentioning this car not because it’s ugly necessarily, but because it’s completely devoid of any resemblance of style. It almost looks like someone took a Ford Fiesta and removed all the interesting design cues to create one of those unbranded generic any-cars you see in advertising. Combined with a boring and forgetful name, I doubt anyone will remember this concept next week, let alone in years to come.

Gumbert Torante

Finally, Gumbert is introducing a new sports car that actually looks pretty. For the most part. Around back things start to fall apart, as it has an almost industrial appliance type of look with taillights that look oddly like bar-code scanners lifted from a grocery store.

Alfa Romeo 4C Concept

Maybe I'm alone, but to me the new Alfa Romeo 4C Concept looks remarkably like the Lotus Evo, sans rear seating. I suppose it's mainly due to the fact that the Evora looks a little like a Ferrari in the hind quarters, and they're related to Alfas by blood.
