Murceilago MR2

It's rare to see a kit car that bears such little resemblance to the car it's trying to mock. I'm guessing this might be Corvette based, due to what appears to be a front mounted engine. There's a surprising amount of MR2 based Lamborghini rip-offs out there now too, but this looks a little too long...

This is (I think) based on a Pontiac Solstice. When it came out, the builder was given a lot of crap for designing such a poor copy. I, however, felt that he at least tried to think outside the box. So many kit builders today still use the 30-year-old Fiero. Come on! I think the idea to use the Solstice was a good one, but the execution just wasn't there. BTW, there is a perfect copy 360 Modena made on a front-engined Peugeot 406, so it can be done.
