Roumen Antonov loves the Bugatti Type 57. Over the past 30 years he's played with designs for his own car that pays tribute, forming a company to produce it under the name of "Four Stroke Design". In 2005 he presents the production version of his car at the Frankfurt Motorshow - the Rumen. Considering that this is the product of almost 30 years of revisions, I would expect something not so fugly. Almost a “Retro Minicar”, the 100hp, 1000 pound car slightly resembles the Type 57 - but squashed and stretched until it’s not long and sleek anymore. It almost looks like a Weevil.

If it wasn't so truncated, it wouldn't be too bad a looking neo-classic! Wonder what prompted him to do such a weeeeevil looking design??? SBARRO involved in any of this???
Antonov Unveils First Two Speed Supercharger

Worlds first enters series production
The world’s first two speed supercharger drive system to enter series production will be demonstrated by Antonov, the automotive technology company, at the Engine Expo exhibition at Stuttgart in Germany next week. The following week, the racing driver Peter Kox will demonstrate the technology at the Zandvoort race circuit in the Netherlands.

Antonov has given on the 16th and 17th may 2006 a demonstration with a Ford Mustang and a Chevrolet 1.8 ltr. Both cars where build with a combined Rotrex/Antonov AMM 2-speed step up supercharger.

It looks very odd but it is also very awesome. Look at the shape of the doors and the rear windshield!
