Corvetter Fugger

I just found this browsing the net. I have no idea what the movie "Corvette Summer" is about, but after seeing the main star I would rather not know. I mean - GOOD GOD. I'm at a lack of words. I thought the 80's ruled for ugly cars...

Holy cow! I saw this movie on AMC or some channel the other day! It stars Mark Hamill, yes Luke, as a teen who just graduated and is on the search for his Corvette (the Fugger) that was stolen by a chop shop. All the while he lives out of a van with his prostitute girlfriend and somehow ends up working for the very chop shop that stole his car! Trust me, from the half hour that I endured, the movie is about as attractive as the car, and vice versa!

Amen to what 'LastVigilanté' said!!!
What a turd of a movie! Mark Hamill made that right after the first 'Star Wars' movie. He must have REALLY been behind on the rent!

The normally charming and funny Annie Potts stars in a pathetic role of the prostitute girlfriend. She must have been on the verge of eviction herself, poor thing!

If you really want to waste a good hour of precious life on this, then by all means, rent it!

I just never understood why his character went to all the great lengths to try to get that POS back. Not only that, but there is a particularly gruesome 'death-scene' of a '71 or '72 Pontiac Formula 455 SD getting totally trashed at the end. It figures. Wreck the classic, save the Fug.

Trust us, it's "FUGGED-UP"!!!
