Sadly, this strange looking car is no joke. The Jukes looks were derived from the 2009 Nissan Qazana concept, which is equally hideous (see below).
Looking like a cross between of Pokemon character, a Murano, and a Fiat Multipla (with a bit of Protoscar 911 Wagon thrown in out back), the car seems to draw from all that is wrong in car design. Also, this is meant to be a Scion competitor. Which is weird as Nissan already has one, and it's also fugly.Actually, it's charming face also reminds me of a pug. A car that's truely pug fugly?

ReplyDeleteThere's little we don't like about the Juke's interior. True, it lacks a telescoping wheel. And yes, the dashboard cap and door sills are made of unyielding plastic and the headliner is coarse enough to qualify for a grit rating, but the controls are all well-placed and visibility is surprisingly good.
